Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Speaker with Great HD Sound and Less Space I bought it around 3 days ago, and i'm so shocked with this speaker, cause with it very small and simple design, it can produced loud and clear HD Sound. But, i think it will be better if this speaker equipped with the notification sound, such as power on/off sound, bluetooth connected sound, etc, like on the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio. But overall, i'm very satisfied with this great little things ! It's worth enough to buy this speaker !

I heard it at a friends house and the next day ordered one for myself - the sound is great and the bass very pleasant I use it in my living room and would like to get another one for my bedroom - I got lucky and ordered it on cyber Monday for $99 but right now it is $149 and totally a great investment for your house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Sound from a Small Device! I previously purchased a Philips Portable Bluetooth speaker a few months ago. A nice sound for its price and very easy to setup. I recently received a pair of AKG headphones and loved them. A quick Google search showed that AKG's parent company is Harman. I've been looking to upgrade my speaker system at home so I specifically searched for Harman products. I came across the Omni 10 and it sounds great in my kitchen! Now I'm not a musician or a sound engineer, but the sound was full and very rich (especially the bass)!!! Very impressed with the sound quality and highly recommend this product! I did run into some technical issues while setting up via Bluetooth. I was trying to connect via my Samsung Galaxy S4. While in pairing mode, my phone had trouble detecting the Omni 10 device. I had to unpair the Philips first and then it worked seamlessly. Now I can access either speaker system whenever I want... Next step is to purchase the Omni 20 and look to pair with my Omni 10 so that I can try the "Party Mode"...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Sound, Terrible App I bought the following speakers to compare, with the HK Omni 10 being the only one that isn't portable/battery powered: Bose Soundlink iii, UE Boom, & JBL Charge. The Omni absolutely obliterates them all when it comes to sound quality, making the Bose (the previous winner), sound very 'muddy' in comparison. That said, sound is top priority, so I'm keeping the Omni 10. Now to the bad - the app is terrible, and after 30min finally connecting, only tells me that "music can't be streamed from your iphone/ipad". Awesome. Once connected, it also wouldn't connect to bluetooth again until I did a hard reset to 'start over'. Here's one part of the problem that I figured out: I didn't realize that even though it supports 802.11n, it ONLY supports 2.4ghz and for some reason my router won't bridge the connection, even though it does so fine with my printer/scanner. Once on the same 2.4ghz network it seemed to pair fine, but I never did get it to actually play music. I think HK has engineered a winning system if they can simply get the firmware and app up to speed - I'll be waiting for it, and will gladly buy 5 or 6 more of these for my home when it happens.

How does the omni series compare with the onyx series. Specifically when focusing on sound quality and bass?

If you are to compare the OMNI 20 with the ONYX STUDIO 3, both speakers have a rated power of 4x15W. This means the OMNI 20 has a very good bass and sound quality which is comparable to the ONYX STUDIO 3.

Beste kun je op de Omni 10 de google chrome adio cast gebruiken? En zo nee, gezien de slechte performance van de HK software (hoe kan ik deze omzeilen)

Dag, Dank voor uw vraag. U kunt een Google Cast Audio dongle gemakkelijk aansluiten op de AUX IN connector van de OMNI speaker. Let op dat, als u verscheidene Omni luidspreker heeft, wordt het geluid niet automatisch gesynchroniseerd tussen de luidspreker waarop u de dongel heeft aangesloten en die andere. U dient het volume handmatig aan te passen, hetzij middels de Controller App of met behulp van de volume knoppen op de luidsprekers. Absolutely. Using the AUX Line input of the OMNI 10 would be the best way to go when watching movies or playing games to avoid lag/sync issue. For the best sonic results, the volume on your computer should be a maximum level, and the volume should be controlled from the OMNI 10.

Hi I have connected my omni 10 to a TV set works fine but when I link them to two omni 20s working in stereo there is a delay in sound. How can I fix? Kind regards

When you link the OMNI's it usually uses your home network connection, and if there are a lot of bandwidth traffic on that network that usually causes intermittent signal transmission from one device to another. Try and disconnect other devices that are connected to your home network except the OMNI speakers and try linking both speakers again.
